League Play at Dragon's Fire

You do not need to be a good player or have an established handicap to join our leagues. (Handicaps will be established and maintained by the organizing committee for each league). There are no monthly minimums or initiation fees. For the Sunday morning Men’s League, additional rounds can be purchased for the same pro rata cost per round. Your purchased rounds do not expire at the end of the season – they are good until June 30th 2012. You can use your purchased rounds to play at any time (in league play or not) on any day of the week. You will be entitled to monthly billing privileges. All league members will receive a GAO membership and a handicap card. All league members will be entitled to the various benefits offered to our loyalty club members. All leagues will be restricted to a maximum of 100 members.

This is our inaugural year for league play, and we will be flexible to try and accommodate the needs and the requirements of the leagues as expressed through their organizing committee. Should you wish to serve on this committee, please do not hesitate to let us now.

Our Men’s League play will commence on Sunday May 1st and run through October 30th. The league will play on Sunday mornings starting at about 7:30 am. To join the league you will need to purchase a minimum 20 round package. This package will cost $1,544 plus taxes. At the start of the year, there will be a $60 Men’s Section Fee for operations and to supplement prizes through the season. There will be a nominal cash charge for each event for the prize table, usually $10. Each Sunday that you sign up to play, you will be assigned a tee time between 8:00 AM and 10:00AM and you will be matched up with other members in a fun filled tournament style event each and every week. Sign up only for the weeks that you are available, tee times will be assigned by the league coordinators. There will be 30 weeks of golf events as well as a Club Championship on the program late in the summer – a three day event.
Additional rounds can be purchased at the same pro rata cost per round. All purchased rounds will not expire until June 30th of 2012. They can also be used for play at any time during the week. This will be a fun league with various formats as determined by the organizing committee. League members will be entitled to a GAO membership with a handicap card, complimentary bucket of balls, billing privileges, and other discounts offered to our loyalty card members.
