Dragon's Fire Golf
Premier Local Golf Course
After three years quietly in the making, Dragon’s Fire Golf Club took flight in 2008 when the course opened to the public. While the 18-hole championship caliber design doesn’t have supernatural powers, the secrets dwelling within Dragon’s Fire boundaries are well guarded by some 80 bunkers and other natural hazards. The abundance of trees and rolling landscape, provides a feeling of seclusion and isolation as you play each of the holes that are surrounded by neighbouring woods and farm fields.
Whether you want to believe that dragons are friendly creatures that bring good fortune and wealth or that they’re fiery beasts that kill their prey from a distance your theory will probably be determined by the tees you choose to play from. The course stretches from 5,200 to 7,200 yards, par-72 with six sets of large tee blocks to choose from. We have designed this course to be both enjoyable and challenging for the average golfer, yet the further back you go the more the dragon’s fury and teeth will come into play, there is a 660-yard, par-5 to deal with for anyone playing the tips.
As one of the premier semi-private golf courses in the GTA, Dragon’s Fire Golf Club has been committed to incorporating the suggestions of its players into the dynamic features of its layout since its inception in June 2008.
With over 7,000 yards of golf range and six sets of tee decks, top notch USGA greens, elegant white Ohio sand bunkers, and satellite-controlled irrigation systems, the course is both functional and upscale. Maintaining the integral history of the old tree farm on which it was built, Dragon’s Fire Golf Club is a fun and challenging course every caliber of golfer will enjoy.
We are pleased to provide:
- An award-winning course with 18 holes located on pristine 200 acres.
- Continuous cart paths, allowing carts to be out even when it is raining or the course is wet.
- Six sets of tees from the forward tees at 5087 yards and the championship tees at 7202 yards. This provides a golf course for all levels of golfers.
- Over twenty species of trees on the property, creating a very mature feel.
- Excellent drainage system allowing the course to dry out quickly after a rainstorm.
- State of the art irrigation system and ample water supply to ensure there are no brown outs during a dry spell.
- Excellent customer service and a price point that provides the best ‘bang for your buck’.
- Neighboring old growth forests and many species of wild life to be encountered during your golfing experience.

Our Policies and Procedures
All players must register at the Pro-Shop prior to commencing play. Players must not tee off prior to the opening of the Pro-Shop.
Rules of Play
Except for local rules, all play is governed by the current regulations of the RCGA. For local rules, please consult your score card.
At Dragon’s Fire Golf Club, we will extend every effort to ensure that a round of golf does not exceed four and a half hours. Players failing to maintain their place by dropping more than a hole from those in front, and being on a pace to exceed more than four and a half hours, will be requested to close the gap by the Player Assistant. The Player Assistant will assist by helping to look for lost balls, raking the bunkers etc. If the gap widens to two holes, they must pick up their balls and move to the next tee. This step is necessary for the enjoyment of all golfers playing that day.
Dragon’s Fire Golf Club has a definitive Player Assistant Program. The purpose of the Players Assistant is to:
- Assist players to have an enjoyable day at Dragon’s Fire
- Ensure the correct flow and pace of play
- Enforce Club policies for the benefit of all players
- Enhance the overall golfing experience for all guests playing at Dragon’s Fire
Neat and presentable attire is required.
In accordance with the provincial government’s “Smoke Free Ontario Act”, the entire tent, Pro-Shop and patio are designated as smoke free areas.
Cell phones are permitted throughout the golf course. Please exercise discretion with due regard for your fellow golfers.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
All tee times may be booked 14 days in advance. A booking for more than 4 players will require a credit card. All bookings may be changed or cancelled prior to 24 hours of the booked tee time. If you are booking 4 or less golfers, we do not require a credit card, but would appreciate a call to make any changes or cancellations.
We are a mandatory soft-spike golf course. Metal spikes or cleats of any kind will not be permitted on the golf course.
Rain check Policy
Rain checks will only be issued for those type of green fees that have been paid for during the “rain out” (for example, weekends, twilight, replay, etc.). 18-hole players who have completed five holes or less will be issued an 18-hole rain check. 18-hole players who have completed 14 holes or less will be issued a nine-hole rain check and nine-hole players who have completed four holes or less will be issued a nine-hole rain check. For golfers on the 14th hole and beyond, no rain check will be issued. No cash refunds.
Our Alcohol policy is as per this linked bulletin as recommended by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission. As per our liquor licence conditions no outside coolers are permitted. Any golfer with outside alcohol on the premises will have the alcohol confiscated. This will be returned when the player leaves the golf course premises. All golfers agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of our mandated alcohol policy.

I love coming here, it feels like a home / member course... everyone is friendly, pro shop, starter, player assistants on the course and the drink cart team, especially Jen. The layout is fair, playable from many different tee decks, this track is always in immaculate condition.
Excellent course. Very tough but fair. Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I would definitely play again and reccomend to anyone.
Hard to find a more private course. Very friendly staff and great food. I wish I lived closer to this place.
Reasonable green fees. Great course with some challenging holes. Mature trees along fairways provide some shade on the hot days. Excellent value. This is an under-rated golf course in my opinion.
Well played course.. long hold ..good look to the greens.....
